Our villages
On the Côte Viticole, villages with evocative names are linked with vineyards, called Climats. Fixin, Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-Saint-Denis, Chambolle-Musigny, Vougeot, Flagey-Echezeaux, Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges... these places of life which beat to the vines' rhythm have discreetly risen in a plot setting where the wine estates are recognized by the activity that drives them. Throughout the seasons, you can see the comings and goings of the engines through the vineyards, hear the tinkling of the glass as the wine is bottled or see the arrival of the grapes ready to be pressed during the harvest period.
During your journey, move away from the Côte and venture onto the winding roads leading to the discovery of the villages of the Plaine and the Hautes Côtes which will lull you with their legendary tranquility. The typically Burgundian stone buildings will be ready to be admired, as will be the monuments full of history that are the villagers' pride. Wash houses, fountains, churches, sometimes remains, are among the curiosities that will punctuate your travel and amaze you. It will only take a moment of contemplation or a conversation with a resident to understand that in our small villages, the past, the present and the future come together at the same time.
