For twenty-five years, Catherine Barbier had the honor of writing and delivering wine-filled harangues on the platform of the cellar of the Château du Clos de Vougeot, during the prestigious Chapters of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. Her audience of faithful enthusiasts found it a shame that her writings remained confidential and often urged her to publish her humorous speeches on wine and the terroir. She ended up agreeing to their request. This is how this collection of texts, in verse or prose, serious or light, but always joyful, was born. It is dedicated to lovers of wine, humor and Burgundy.
